About Build and Ship Apps
Build and Ship Apps was founded in late 2020, and Narrated is the first app under this brand name. The company’s founders are Florian Kugler and Chris Eidhof. Our mission is to make productivity apps for the Mac that focus on simplicity.
Previously, we built Deckset, an app for creating beautiful slides using Markdown; and Scenery (discontinued), an app for creating product shots.
We are also the people behind objc.io, where we publish books about Swift and iOS development. We are the authors of multiple books on programming within the Apple ecosystem: Thinking in SwiftUI (2020), Advanced Swift (2019), App Architecture (2018), Core Data (2017), and Functional Swift (2015). We are the hosts of the weekly video series Swift Talk.
